I am not now nor ever have been a member of Canada's famous Mounted Police. But when I was growing up, it was every red blooded Canadian boy's dream to wear the red serge. I did grow up in Alberta, and much of the story is based on true facts. Some of it is fantasy. It's up to you to decide which is which.
