Some people enjoy sexual fantasy as an escape from reality. This is partly true for me too however, I also like to create fantasies that reflect and magnify things I enjoy in reality. In this sense I am able to deeply explore my sexual desires in ways that complement and enhance my reality rather than be an escape from it. Readers of my stories thus find it difficult to tell where my reality ends and my fantasies begin. I liken this to that place between sleep and awake where you can still remember dreaming.
