All the names in here, including the one I’m using, are fictitious.
I am a clinical psychologist with a private practice in San Francisco and Los Angeles. I do have patients who are incest survivors and a few who are currently active. As both survivors and predators.
“Case Studies” is not a scholarly treatise, it is intended as a precursor to a screenplay I may write one day. It is based on real mothers, seven of whom are my patients. Plus three others who see a colleague of mine, a female psychiatrist. She and I compare notes on the ten intriguing women who aid and abet the sex lives of their own sons.
In “Case Studies” I’ve purposely disguised the identity of the women. And I’ve scrambled certain symptoms to make these patients even less recognizable.
Personally, I’m 46 years old, married with two children. My wife is a surgical nurse.
