1: The Defenceman by Cold Creek Well written to be almost believable and not just a load of bonking nameless pussies. It has setbacks which are frustrating to the reader but hold your interest. You really relate to the main character and feel for him.
I see how he develops characters i.e. even the difference between the twins.
Not having a clue how ice hockey is played, I even read his well-described accounts of the games - that gives you an idea of his writing ability - and I find them brightening up the story.
2: Pete: A Young Man's Story by Magi A great long read that I've actually read a second time.OK bits of his good luck with thousands of females are a bit far-fetched and his good fortune as an actor and model beggars belief but it is a fiction nevertheless and who am I to speak?
