A Bettered Life by Michael Lindgren Many characters helping each other overcome obstacles from their past, building better futures for them and their friends.
Dance of a Lifetime by Don Lockwood One of the first stories I read here after discovering Laz’s site. I overlooked the occasional continuity hiccup and settled into the flow of the story.
Finding a Place by Don Lockwood Another underdog story that caught my attention. Brendan’s high school time was like a journey through the wrong part of a Port-a-John. He makes the most of his freshman year at college with the help of a special young woman.
Rewind by Don Lockwood Oh, how I wish Don would finish this one …
A good take on the DoOver genre, a character who recognizes his flaws after returning (and succumbing for a little while), and works to be better.
Unending Night by Jay Cantrell Jay’s story hooked me right away as the underdog won and discovered the chance of a new future.
