Finding a Place by Don Lockwood This was the second Don Lockwood story I read, and I think it's better than his master work. I'm a jock, I'll never make it to the Olympics, but I got college paid for. I didn't do all of high school in this country, but I was here my senior year. I hate the way most jocks are shown in stories here. Sure some jocks are jerks, but there are some fine folks among us too. We have to work our tail off and it takes more time than almost all non-jocks know. That makes us look distant sometimes... sorry different rant. The jocks in this story are they ones I know. They work hard and are good people. It's just a bonus that they have more talent in one area than some.
Fool Me Once by Longhorn__07 The humanity of this story hurts. You have a great story from a great writer
Lady in Red: Book 2 (The Rise of the Warrior) by Harddaysknight This fun story should be treated as a jewel of the first order. It's pure fantasy and requires total suspension of belief. That said, it's the way we want to see our heroes, noble and without flaw. Pure of heart and thus able to overcome outrageous odds! The love is just as pure and the humor priceless!
Can you tell I really love the story and the author? If not, you need help. ??
Lyin' Eyes by Longhorn__07 I enjoy the realistic cheating stories. I will alway have a hard time picking my very favorite, but this is certainly in the top 3. Another must read
Obsession by Longhorn__07 This is my least favorite Longhorn 07 story which still puts it in my favorites list. I like the humanity that 07 brings to his stories. Frankly, I hope that this very well written story will get a sequel, but even as it stands it's a must read.
