FeyRen: Favourites

1: Aftermath by Al Steiner
This man is tucking brilliant! All of his characters are alive and well thought out. Some of his plots, particularly military engagements are slightly repetitive, that's mostly the fact that there are only a few successful ways for the main characters to battle their enemies. Steiner's name on the byline automatically ensures atleast a rating of 8/10 from me.
2: A Correct Destiny by Al Steiner
An interesting variation on this particular topic. Steiner once again writes compelling, believable scifi.
3: Country Boy, City Girl Book II by Mushroom
Like the first book, this needs editing pretty badly, but the story shines brightly through the grime. !!WARNING!! Unlike the first story, this story has some REALLY hard emotional sections...Ok, atleast 30 chapters of gut-wrenching pain. All is NOT well here. If you read the first book and loved it, you might be better served just imagining your own ending...cause it will be happier than what you will find here, atleast so far.
4: Destiny's Road by Lumpy
Chapter 51
5: Doing it all Over by Al Steiner
Intense and awesome.
6: The Grim Reaper by rlfj
No explicit sex, just a good life story.
7: If I Told Her to Take Her Clothes Off, She Just Would by Daydreamz
Good British teacher harem fantasy. The ending is a bit abrupt, but still nice. Really like that the MC, while being smart, doesn't ALWAYS do everything right.
8: James 2.0 by Pen Epically
Good. Simplistic, but good.
9: A Perfect World by Al Steiner
Great SciFi remanessant of Heinlein"s best work.
10: Robin by John Smith
This is one of the most powerful stories I have ever read, and that is saying a lot. Even though the style and grammar are atrocious, particularly in the first half of the book, and the author has a bad habit of mixing up character's names and sometimes even events, the story shines through all of that. If this story weren't as compelling as it is, and if the characters weren't as well developed, alive, and loveable, I would never have been able to finish reading this. For a story this rough to affect me this greatly is a marvel, and I shudder to think what it would do to me if given the professional editing that it so desperately cries out for.
11: Solutions Incorporated by Lazlo Zalezac
This is brilliant and hilarious. Seriously glad I found this one.
12: They That Have Power - Book I by hermit
Holy crap is this a good coming of age mind control story. While I think the author made a mistake making the MC 13, they did an EXCELLENT job of showing how his youth affects his thinking and actions.
