Definitely. An obvious one is dead-tree, Larry Niven's "World of Ptavvs".
I think that also applies to some of the sequences in Lazlong's "The Fountain of Youth" and/or its sequel (Premier only).

This is just starting. I am almost done at 25 chapters in length - just editing. The first chapter is up.
I hate mind control where the subject is simply a zombie/automaton to be controlled by a puppet master.
After the initial shock wears off, it is simply not as much fun for ME (I don't begrude anyone their interest though). I am just saying for ME.
So I finally started writing what I wanted to see. What you asked for (I think)
In this story, Tig is humoring her brother by agreeing to be hypnotized to help with school work. She doesn't believe it will work.
The story will blur the line where she is aware she has compulsions, but she feels as though she would do them anyway.
"If someone hypnotized me to take a long hot bath, why wouldnt I? I want to do it anyway."
At times, convinced she simply feels like doing these things, at other times horrified - and actively testing the boundaries of his control. Humliation is a huge part, but so is the growing feeling that she likes being the center of attention because the embarassment turns her on.
