Just finished Yellowstone (TV series) and was wondering if anyone has written anything similar to that.

Not knowing a thing about the TV show I can't answer your question without more information. So, what's so different between that show and the many other western shows that have been on TV over the years?
There are many western stories on SoL, some are like the TV series Gunsmoke and some are like F Troop while some are like Rawhide and others are like Bonanza.

For one thing, the main Yellowstone series is set in the present day, not in the mid 19th Century.
There is a prequel spin off called 1883 that is set starting in 1883.
A friend of mine (Marius-6) is writing a story A Sixth Generation Cowboy and a Third Generation Whore. Set in Colorado c.2010, a Marine has part of his leg amputated, and is in physical therapy to adjust to a prosthetic.
His grandfather dies leaving him a ranch. There are several mysteries, violence, and prostitution as well as aspects of modern ranching.
When the MC returns home their are no cattle, bulls, nor horses left. The Grandfather was leasing out most of the range for other ranches to graze upon.
The MC is considering possibilities of raising cattle, or possibly just horses. However, he gets involved in dealing with various threats and mysteries.
Unfortunately, the author is "trapped" in an assisted living facility for at least a few more months. He has no internet, and due to Covid-19 restrictions is rarely allowed guests. Several of us met with him, and he was allowed a day out this Christmas. Unfortunately the "Omnicron" resulted in new restrictions.
Another friend got him a new laptop for Christmas, so he is back to writing.
Several of us read through each other's stories, so I have read ahead of what is posted here. We also talk about ideas and writing.
Hopefully in 3 to 6 months his story will continue. (He thinks earlier, I am more cautious.)
