You know the story: a poor or in some cases homeless kid who has a talent for sports is given a chance by a Coach. The kid and the coach become more like family than anything else. The kid goes on to become the greatest thing to ever happen to the team, the school, and probably the whole town. I'd also like if he had a harem but it's not necessary.

Take a look at Oh Boy by Dual Writer. The MC is not homeless, but he is fatherless -- but he has a coach who cares and surprise, one heck of a relative to a great uncle.
