Any great, somewhat long story's about professional sports, like baseball and football? I've read Jays Brock Miller stories for baseball, and a game of inches for football, both excellent, and I'm wondering if there's any others in the pro sports theme, not just the above mentioned sports, that are great reads.
Cold Creek in the Defenseman series, particularly the third, incomplete story, discusses Professional Hockey. Most of the time the hero plays College Hockey.
