Let me preface this with a disclaimer: I have no problem with Poly relationships (real or fictional), however it feels as if a majority of the stories on here include poly relationships regardless of genre. What I've been looking for is stories about relationships in turmoil, breakups, heartbreak, and many, if not all, of the stories I've read which include poly relationships the characters involved are completely happy with the situation. No matter the setting or era of the story the characters embrace a poly relationship without a second thought.
I admit I've been "researching" breakup drama because I've never dealt with that in my life. I wanted to see how other, more talented, writers have dealt with heartbreak and drama in their writing. In poly relationships there isn't any, at least in any of the stories I've read. It seems as if all poly relationships are perfect or flawless and lack any jealousy (at least in story form).
Any recommendations for stories that don't have poly relationships? Any length as long as it focuses on the turmoil of a breakup, heartbreak, or just raw emotions driven by relationships.
I've read most of Aroslav, all of Jay Cantrell, some of Bebop3, Argon, RCM, Mushroom, Always Raining, Coaster2, Pennlady, Qhml1, and SmokinDriver.
