Forum: Story Recommendations

Looking for good stories of life under martial law in effect over a large area or nationwide in the U.S. "Good" - defined as a story you liked. A sci-fi story is okay, as long as the martial law part of it is currently or historically realistic. No intergalactic gunslingers.

First story that comes to mind for me is a dead tree offering, Under seige by Stephen coonts. Definitely in the top 3 longest books i've ever read but it has been a favourite of mine since i first read it in the 90's
