I see a lot of stories where the male MC discovers his wife cheating on him and has to move on. Has anyone written a story where the male MC cheats, gets caught cheating, has to move on, and it works out?
Imagine that's unlikely but I am curious.
I wouldn't mind seeing this myself. Or from the POV of a woman who gets cheated on and has to rebuild her life. To go by stories on the inter webs, you'd think no man ever cheated and fucked up his marriage.

Plenty of Mother/Son incest stories out there where dad is out of the picture because he ran off with with another woman (without an official divorce).
Honestly expected there would be some of a woman discovering her husband cheating or leaving. Not many but some. However, though I was hopeful to find what I originally asked for it seems like there aren't any like that. It's a shame as I'd like to see stories where the main character makes a mistake, loses a wife/loved one, and then has to grow and overcome their mistake... Finally ending up with a better or different life.

From what I've seen in the relationships around me, male cheaters fall into two categories.
Men suffering from lack-o-nookie at home.
Men who have rejected the notion of monogamy. These men may pay lip-service to monogamy and even marry a woman, but they don't mean it.
In the former case, He's not the one who fucked up the old relationship.
In the latter case, those men will never stop cheating. Even if he rebuilds his life and finds a new wife, he will cheat on her.
