I was enjoying 'A Woman Warrior' by Allan Joyal. It's part of the Swarm Cycle (boo!) but it's by Allan Joyal (hurrah!) so it's intelligent and well-written, but unfortunately it's incomplete and untouched for approaching a year (boo!).
