Forum: Story Recommendations

Hi folks I recently read Axman by shaddoth and my izeikiel life and found that I really enjoy the style of story where there's a game like character progression with stats at the end of chapter someone else's forum alluded to the style as being based off of Dungeons & Dragons if so where has that been all my life as I'm in my mid 30s but obviously it wasn't in my area of Australia at the time

All that being said Id like to make up for lost time and read much more so bring on the story suggestions with the caveat that I prefer to keep it in the safe search section meaning filter on

Well, Godless&Faithless (and its sequel) would likely appeal.

I can't remember the title, there was another where someone 'died' and ended up in a afterlife where various old deities had set up a dungeon crawl for their followers to compete against each others' performance in.

You can try this translated Japanese light novel Road to Kingdom. At every chapter it shows the statistics of the main character. From how much gold he has to the number of women he's slept with. There's alot of smut in it because the main character is a bit of a horn dog.
