One of the first stories I read on SOL way back when! I remember it being concluded right before I left Canada and started working overseas.Start with the best - Aftermath by Al Steiner
I'm still not sure how it dropped out of it's perennial ranking in the top five stories ever...
The copy in my files is dated 2001. A look at the info on the author directory shows it was first posted in 2000. [21 years? Ye gods!]
I agree Aftermath should still be one of the best stories on SOL. Was it ever a Classic Clit?

Never qualified, since I'm pretty sure it won a Clitoride when it was released.

Wow. I wonder if Doing it All Over was the same year? Hard to believe it would've been beaten otherwise.

Who dafuck is drspin? I don't even remember seeing anything by him..
Old awards, 2000-2004. The Author is possibly not even from SOL. Back then the Clitorides had nominations for authors from other sites too, i.e ASSTR. I believe that is still possible.
Wasn't SOL, BtFH, emcsa, wolfpub... maybe it was a specialty site, possible BDSM or same sex specific? That could explain it...

Old timer. He posted on SOL and ASSTR between 1997 and 2000, then her removed his stories along with other authors like MichaelD38, Jackofalltrades and few others and went to form the now defunct Ruthie's Club.
After Ruthie's Club closed down, I haven't seen a mention or trace of drspin. MichaelD38 now has his own site and is selling his books.
Was Ruthie's Club one of the two main victims of the Feds, back in the bad old days before the internet obscenity laws were struck down?
No... It was a subscription membership site that closed a while after the owner died. I think that Desdemona tried to keep it going for a couple years, but then her health started to decline and she closed the site.
