Basically I'm looking for recommendation for stories where the MC (regardless of gender) creates a tech and then either market it or sold it to some dept in the gov.
Something like the early parts of Arlene and Jeff.
Looking to expand my library with made up tech sexy stories.
Also, are there many techy sexy stories out there?

The 'smart girls' universe involved some military-grade tech at one point. (I eventually gave up on the series, so don't know if that continued.)
Several DoOvers get into advanced tech - Charlie Foxtrot, SmokinDriver, gwresearch, rotedrachen, PT Brainum, novascriptus, John Wales... many of the writers in the genre can't resist having the MC introduce some sort of technology early.
