Saw this story mentioned in this forum, and learned that it was also now published on Amazon. I'm re-reading it after many years and loving it once more. My question was if the first story published here on SOL is the same as that sold on Amazon, perhaps just a little more polished, or has it changed much, and had material added. Oh, and are the sequels in the same vein, and still as good?

I've read the first story both here and on Amazon and they don't seem to have obvious differences. I read them a few years apart, but the edits didn't cause any confusion in my recollection. Pretty sure that it was done for continuity, spelling, and grammar. There were no 'Hey, that didn't happen in the SOL version!' surprises.
the 'sequels' are novel sized adventures and not a massive sprawl. Magestic 2 & 3 are not really sequels but separate adventures in the Magestic universe. They are more of a bit extra and not part of the main line story (though they both take an interesting look at how familiar characters in some of the other universes might act). Interesting... but not necessary to really enjoy the first story.
