I've been enjoying stories where the main character is involved in show business in some way. This could be modeling, movie making, music industry, etc.
Good examples are the stupid boy series, the defensemen series, Richard Jackson series, teenage dream series, Carstairs, Daze in the Valley, Runaway Train.
Can you recommend stories with a similar theme?

This made me wonder if Richard the third is still with us. His stories always had a train wreck type of fascination for me. Unbelievable plots, completely random punctuation and strange dialog but I wound up reading them anyway.

I tried reading them, they are basically new age stroke stories which are all well and good if that's what your into but if you want an actual plot look elsewhere.
Some of Dual Writers Florida Friends series have a lot of involvement with a blues band or three. Also Banadin's (Ed Nelson's) Richard Jackson Saga has a lot of Hollywood and movie making in it. He puts the new stories up on Sol and Bookapy for a little while before he takes them down to put up on Amazon - they don't like them being up elsewhere.

He hasn't posted the last 4 books on SOL, just on Bookapy.

Nothing definite, but his last blog entries stated that he broke his hip last may, and was having Wi-Fi problems last summer.
Hope he's ok as I have enjoyed all the permutations he has come up with with his three major story lines.
Recovering form a broken hip/hip replacement takes a lot out of one, and Covid 19 hasn't helped matters any.
