Lazlo's Donaldson family is my favorite. Wish I could celebrate Thanksgiving with them.

And ZZturk, and Dastardly Dodo, and...
most any Chinese restaurant: "One large happy family" - "you want egg drop or wonton soup with that?"
Lazlo's https://storiesonline.net/s/65690/fighting-for-family is about a family that is on the verge of breaking up due to the mothers career obsession. Happy ending.
Qhml1's https://storiesonline.net/s/10321/boston-to-birmingham-romantic-story has a huge extended family. Boston Brahmins, Alabama Rednecks, lawyers and cops and drug dealers. Cheating, reconciliation, kidnapping & rescue. Violent revenge, topless catfight in a mudhole. Kids abandoned, rescued and adopted. Lots of drama. Home made pumpkin pie. Happy ending.
Thanks all. I'll check out Lazlo & Qhml1.
I can't fint zzturk's stories. Have they been archived?
As for the Donaldson family, I remember starting it some time back but it was just too over the top for me in the first couple of chapters & abandoned it.
I suspect he's one of the ones who pulled stories in protest when his typical offering was declared PNG on SOL due to PitA over-reaching government.
ZZ is still here but the name was changed to Anonymous. I hate it when that happens, but at least the stories are here for those who want to find them and read them.

Try one of the 'tame' branches of the family, like 'Cookie Magic' or 'Lawyers in Love'. (I find it sad that Lazlo never finished the series with the obvious entry 'Playing Doctor'...I can't imagine anyone would want to read about the politician branch.)

You have no sense of adventure! Imagine what Thanksgiving Dinner with the Donaldson's would be like. Better yet, look at Norman Rockwell's "Freedom From Want" and imagine what the Donaldson's around that table would look like!
