The second sentence doesn't make much sense if you are asking people to talk about different types of harem stories as the first sentence seems to ask rather than recommending specific stories.
There aren't really many types of harems - either you have one guy who a group of females exclusively have sex with (although they're all likely to have sex with each other, and possibly females outside the group) or you just have a group sex or poly story that isn't a harem.
Unless you mean by genre - there's DoOver harems, Time Travel harems, BDSM harems, SciFi harems, Fantasy harems (including urban fantasy, such as magic in near present reality), PostApoc harems, mind control harems...
There aren't really many types of harems
regular harem: 1 male with multiple females.
A reverse harem: 1 female, multiple males.
For each of the above*:
blind harem: cheating situation, harem members are not aware of each other.
consensual harem: All harem members are aware of each other. There may or may not be sexual relations between members of the harem. No BDSM elements in relationships between the leader and the harem members.
traditional/BDSM harem: Harem members are slaves/concubines(voluntary or otherwise). Explicit BDSM elements.

It's a harem if she's the dominant one and she has a fixed set of males that she's involved with.
As with the male in a regular harem, she doen't have to be doing them all at once so gang banging is not necessary.
It's reverse harem, never read "adult" stories/novel with this type of harem but I read a lot of "normal" novel with this type of harem usually it's involved around aristocracy and noble world
