the 90's

kungfufool45 ๐Ÿšซ

i was born in 2001 but i was always interested in the 90's. i mean almost every thin from the 90's, cartoons, sitcoms, music, and now stories. I'm asking for stories you have that take place, were written or published in the 90's. Bonus points if the Mc is male, theres a harem, and(this one isn't neccessary) if he has some kind of power.

Well, the problem is often going to be that stories written back then are generally nowhere near as good as what is written today.

One of mine that largely fits would be Okinawa. It is both written (I started in 1996) and set in the 1990's, and has a kind of harem. But no powers, it is strictly Real World in that aspect.

One that started in the 1980's but has continued on now into the 1990's is my Country Boy, City Girl saga. It started in the summer of 1981, and is now in 1990 and will probably wrap up in around 1993 or so. And in it I cover quite a bit of pop culture (popular songs, TV and movies), as well as fashion, trends, technology, and even some things of historical note.

Perhaps look at various do-over stories, since the MC generally goes from post- to pre 90's. Complicating that is that not all do-overs are so tagged - if posted before the introduction of that tag, they'll be tagged time travel unless the author updated the tagging.

Blackie's The Book was written back then, and it seemed to be contemporary. MC learned how to control minds from reading a mysterious book, did what any guy would do - used the power to get laid a bunch, then used it to make himself a bunch of money so he wouldn't have to work, then collected a harem, then found out there were other people with power, and there were people who knew about the power and hunted those with it. The writing wasn't up to today's standards, but was miles above its contemporaries.

But a lot of stories back then were simple stroke, usually involving Gillian Andersen. (I exaggerate slightly. She was the most frequent celeb in stories both because she was really hot and because a lot of those reading and writing the stories were geeks who loved the XFiles.)

God, I remember reading that back then. My own copy is dated 1997, and this was one that was commonly thrown around back when IRC was still a common way to share stories. I got mine even earlier, that was one I remember that I assembled from the various pieces back in the day.

And at almost 500k, it was a huge story for that time period. I know I read it, but probably have not done so in well over 20 years.

I still have my 4,000+ story collection from that era on my hard drive. Which is funny when I look through the "Parody" section. Lots of stories that could really only have been written then. Sailor Moon, 90210, 3rd Rock, Secret World of Alex Mack, Baywatch, Xena, Sweet Valley High, Saved by the Bell, Ellen, even Dr. Laura and Cybill.

If the search was still working properly, ASSTR would be an excellent place to look.

The Book by Blackie, plus other of his stories (some quite recent), is available on a site that specializes in erotic mind control stories.

It was on SOL too. Might be archived now. Blackie's sequel, "Tales from the Institute" never made it to SOL tho.
IIRC, the original first showed up on alt.sex.stories around 93.

Almost all of my stories are set in the 90s, in a time when making a mix tape for someone was a sure sign,.... but I don't think the qualify for the bonus points.

I spent about two years of the 90's in country. As a result, I've large holes in my pop culture knowledge for the time frame. I do remember multiple stories popping up on alt.sex.stories for Sailor Moon, Xena, and Xfiles. I remember Sailor Moon and others of their ilk were popular in Japan and Asia, but didn't find out about the US popularity until the early 2K's.

The search function for ASSTR sucks, but you can search by keyword Site:whatever.org etc. For difficult sites to search, that is your better option.

Moy oldest spent most of the last decade in prison. And it was much the same for him.

It was hilarious trying to explain to him what a "Bronie" was, and that yes, they really did exist. And he still thought I was kidding, until he actually met one. And realized that no, I had not been pulling his leg, it was a real thing.

I'm sure some of the denizens of 4chan must sell the stuff.

Hell, some of them must chug the stuff on a regular basis.

That plushie was probably actually made as a hand puppet.

Be glad that whoever put that up on tumblr didn't put a fleshlight in it.

Did you read the text? It's pretty explicit that it's been (hand)made as a sex toy, though with the caveats, maybe having a fleshlight in it would be better. And, given the level that the bidding has got to there, I bet there will be more, until the niche market is saturated.

Yes, I read the text. I'm just skeptical that it's actually true.

1. It looks as well made as any regular commercially made plushie.

2. The hole actually looks to be too large and too loose to properly use as a masturbation toy absent using a regular male masturbation toy such as a fleshlight as an insert.

On the other hand, maybe it was intended as a masturbation toy for a real horse. (Get that image out of your head) :)

I thought about that; the cavity is just over 6" circumference, so about 2" across (about the size of the shaft of a fleshlight, but much smaller than the business end - I learned far TMI looking into this) but only 6" deep (far too short...). OTOH, the cavity appears to be more a vertical slit, so should be smug in one dimension on its own.

Having had to clean the smegma from beneath the foreskin of a horse, I can say with certainty it's too small for the one I used to own and likely for any larger than 5hh (i.e., any)

That might be true if the whole thing were of firmer construction, but that doesn't follow for a plushie. The whole thing could be squished so the opening becomes a circle.

Oh, it can get worse.

I have been involved in Second Life for over a decade now. And seen many fads come and go in that time. At one time, there were a lot of Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica sims around, as well as Fallout ones.

Now, they are all gone. But strangely, the Equestria Fallout is still going strong. And yes, it is just what it sounds like. My Little Pony, in the Fallout universe.
