@kungfufool45Oh, you'll be hard pressed to find a story much like that one. Don did those 'feel good' stories like nobody else.
Most writers want to really challenge their main characters, make them suffer and such, Don didn't feel the need to do that so much as just create some interesting characters and let the reader be a voyeur into their otherwise happy life.
But for other stories that are as well written and entertaining, stick with Don Lockwood (some of his shorter works, plus his NiS stories), Al Steiner (especially Doing it all Over), and Lazlo Zalezac (especially the Donaldsons series, Thunder and Lightening, Magic, the Solutions Incorporated stories, and Hardtimes)
