I asked about this as a 2nd question in another post but thought it might be better to post it on it's own.
I'm looking for a feel good "do over" story similar to "emend by eclipse". I looked through the "doover" tag but would welcome suggestions. Prefer "no sex to some sex" and longer stories. Doesn't matter how far back in time the MC goes. Thanks
There's a finite number of really good, long do-over stories.
My top one by a wide margin is Magestic by Geoff Wolak or GWresearch. Sequels are available elsewhere, but the story can stand on its own satisfactorily. Very long and detail-heavy, but in my humble opinion, the best.
Second place is A Fresh Start by rlfj. (Sp) takes you all the way from childhood through retirement.
Third place is A New Past by Charlie Foxtrot. Also long, detail heavy.
Magestic is No sex, the other two start out fairly heavy and get taker as they go.
I have to agree on all three except my order is:
A Fresh Start
A New Past
Magestic
Also Don Lockwood's "Rewind" (although long incomplete a recent blog post by him offers a hope it will be finished).
Once More With Feelings by Night Hawk is feel-good do-over.
The "Fountain of Youth" series by Lazlong is another one.

I love the Timm's light hearted approach and whimsy. It is certainly different from many whose heroes are sent to save the world. This is just great fun.
