Rip Van Winkle with a twist. Nerd kid goes to sleep and wakes up three years later. Someone else has lived those years in his body and he is now known as an asshole jock with no morals. His mother is dead, his freshman crush hates him and his father has married a bimbo.
Now he has to fake it with no memory of those years' schooling or relationships.
In the 1970s the BBC had a TV series and related books called Catweazle about an 11th century wizard sent forward to the twentieth, who sees all modern tech as magic.
Its a kids show, so don't expect great exposition or acting.
