DoOver/TimeTrv/MindRdr MC who heavily uses his knowledge for his career (or money-making)

junjunjey ๐Ÿšซ

I'm searching for stories like A New Past by Charlie Foxtrot where the MC uses his foreknowledge to invent and claim tech stuffs earlier than in his first timeline.
Or like A Fresh Start by rflj where MC uses his foreknowledge to guide his political decisions.
I read some stories from other sites like soccer manager who purchased future stars, guy who writes screenplays of future movie hits, young investor becomes second coming of Warren Buffet.
I don't mind if the stories similar to the ones I mentioned above.

Thanks in advance.

Possibly Lazlo's last work. He stopped posting in the middle of the story, but left the complete story for Tenderloin to edit and post. "On this day the Twin Towers did not fall".

PT Brainum has an entire series, John the Genius. He remembers all of his possible lives and all possible outcomes.

Paul's Redemption is a slightly more 'standard do over' with patenting tech from the future to get rich and attract girls.

And its sequel are both good. MC is an electronics genius, so he patents the laser, cassette tape, bubble wrap, the concrete pump, etc. Squicks includes severe child abuse (which is avenged) and some incest (which can be skipped without losing track of the story).

Out of Focus by Flavian is a do over that lacks the great wealth / deeds scenario. Its a very twisty tale though. Well worth reading.

'A New Beginning and Beyond' by Wojtek is really just getting started but looks to be another.

Smoking driver has a long series covering adolescence through college to building a business empire.

Time by John Wales is an epic tale with a Canadian MC.

Dinsdale ๐Ÿšซ

According to the author's blog entry a few hours ago, https://storiesonline.net/s/42289/rewind is going to get some more chapters (I'll believe "finished" when I see it) and that story qualifies.

I just finished reading it and like you stated in your blog it has a rather abrupt end with nothing resolved concerning the main story line. It wouldn't have been a problem if you could read on into the next book but it is a rather artificial way to have multiple books for what essentially should be a single book.
Despite that I did enjoy reading it and I'm looking forward to the next book. It's different take on a DoOver.

Its a 3 or 4 book series I stopped book one after high school college is going to be book 3 and his career and later life book 4. I broke it down the most logical way I could.

And a good read it was too

@rycliff_24

Usually, the most logical way to break up a story is by looking for points where there's a major (sub-)plot resolution.
If a break occurs at some arbitrary point with no resolution, readers will pretty much all respond WTF?
