Looking for long stories

nathanhardinvip ๐Ÿšซ

I would like to find some long stories similar to the OSL, Stupid Boy or Defenceman series. The story doesn't need to have a ton of sex scenes but some to break up the plot would be appreciated(but if it has a ton that's fine). Please no male/male or cuck stuff as both are huge turnoffs to me.

Check out Jay Cantrell's stories.

I'll give them a look, thanks!

@Eldof

So I've binged through DITV, RT and LC since you made this recommendation and I just wanted to say thanks. They were all excellent. I just wish the follow-up to learning curves was already out.

It is being re-edited (or maybe edited for the first time). There are about 137 chapters and I am not sure if it is inactive or not, the author (Magi) and new co-author and editor may intend to add more.

May I suggest my universe "A Well-Lived Life"?

https://storiesonline.net/universe/1041/a-well-lived-life

Two series in "A Well-Lived Life", totalling about 7 million words, plus one book in 'Good Medicine' for another 450,000 words. There are more books to come in both series, with the current grand total of words at about 9,000,000.

Is that the series where "best girl" dies and MC has weird paranormal closure sex with her younger sister as a way to say goodbye? Or am I thinking of something else? I've read so many different stories on this site that I can't keep them all straight. If it is closure sex story it was well written but I stopped reading around book 4 or 5 I think, I planned to go back to it but don't remember where exactly I left off so haven't done it yet.

That does occur in this series, but there are exactly three 'dreams' like that in 7,000,000+ words, so it's not a 'paranormal' story, per se.

Fair enough. By the way I didn't mean what I said as a criticism it's just the thing that was most unique about the story that I could remember. I think the reason I stopped reading originally was because I had marathoned through the first 5 books non stop and I just hit the point where it was too much story and I needed a break from the universe. I will definitely pick it back up.

And I didn't take it that way - I just wasn't sure how much you had read and if you thought the two dream sequences in Book 3 of Series 1 were indicative of it going 'paranormal'.

As they say, no worries, mate.

I can endorse Michael without reservation. I haven't read a well lived life but I am reading good medicine and it is fantastic. Well written, great characters, believable. Fantastic story and with a brand new plot twist.

I respectfully submit my Smart Girls Universe.

It's not one long story, it's several that tie together.

Smart Girls universe reading order:

Cindy
Christina
Nikki

Those three merge at the ends of the stories, to become Community

Kimberly 2.0 comes in at the end of Community, so read that one to see where she comes from. while in this section, you need to read Melodic Redemption to see where Stoney and Johanna come from when they show up.

Community Too rocks along next. Dana comes into Community Too about midway through, so you need to read her concurrent with Community Too.

Carlita is mentioned late in Community Too, so you need to read Mi Vida to learn her story.

And then there's Community 3Sigma. Dana shows up. Bill and Haley and Deena show up there, and that's presaged by Neighbors and Bill and Haley.

We roll the story of Tommy and Mimi out of Community 3Sigma and roll them back into Community4.

And now we're on Haley's Bunch and Community - Moving On.
