Runaway Train by Jay Cantrell would be a good fit aswell, though it's the protagonist's girlfriend who's the celebrity.
"Stupid Boy" stories might fit. Those are pretty celeb filled.
Also, Lubrican's "Fiddling Around with Uncle Bob" goes into this somewhat. As does one of his "Making of a Gigolo" tracks.
