A very good story so far, in the top tier of my ratings for ongoing stories. The blurb is somewhat misleading because it's turning out to be a political thriller with a smattering of romance.

I was expecting the story to be an epic, with the protagonist going on to clean up the evil empire and rediscover Earth. But it suddenly ended!
Still a very good story, but I think the author passed over the opportunity to produce a top-50 blockbuster.

Exactly my thoughts. After finishing it I felt almost cheated. It was like the entire thing was a teaser for the real story. So many sub plots cut off. So much left unsaid. You're right in that it had potential to be so much more.
I'm busy writing Mage, I'll expand that universe next. And no he won't rediscover Earth, that's lost to him.
