I'd like some recommendations where a boarding school is the major plot point.
Settings where the boarding school is only mentioned, like in Stupid Boy, do not count.
Sex scenes don't matter but female protag is preferred (lesbian or straight)
Co-ed boarding school is also OK
male-only boarding school only if the story is great.

Having gone to a boarding Christian high school in my youth, I can testify that there is a great deal of accuracy in this story, at least as far as the day to day details. Being a card carrying social nerd at the time, I can not speak to the sexual aspects. But it is a good story in and of itself, and one that is on my impulse reread list, along with 'Kelly', his other great story.

I looked Fable up and all his stories are unfortunately premium.
I read half of battered lamp from mypenname3000, it was okay, but the mentioned story doesn't look like something I would enjoy in this genre.

The plot is effectively an excuse for a lesbian stroke story. I enjoyed it, just as I enjoyed the Battered Lamp, but its appeal isn't universal.

Perhaps you should expand the scope to include college. You could give Ernest Bywater's Odd Man in College a try.

Most College stories are about the lone guy experiencing college.
I am more interested here in the microdynamics of a bunch of teenagers "locked" into the setting of a boarding school without their families social "safety net".

As a story itself and with lesbian action, it was good.
But not really anything I hoped in regards to the boarding school theme. The story couldn't really deliver it in this scenario, with a do-over/mary-sue/gender-bender theme.
will check 'Nick, High School' or the 'Christian College Sex Comedy'next.
I think "Once More..." is about the best boarding school do-over on the site. I suspect the rest will disappoint you if you think this story "couldn't really deliver it".
But I didn't specify that I wanted only boarding school do-overs. I wanted Boarding School in general.
The do-over part in this story is a mark against it, here.
I like do-overs, probably read 80% of all the big ones but do-overs have a serious issue with mary-sue-ing.
And that is something that doesn't fit into the spirit of boarding school stories that I am looking for.
I mean, the protagonist was friends with every power of the school, press, politics and health care. Not really standard narrative in boarding school stories.
And except for a little gym action, meals and 1/3 dorm life, the protagonist didn't really interact with boarding school life.
Like I said, this is a good story, but not the droids I was looking for.
