Forum: Story Recommendations

This may not even exist, but the idea occurred to me do i had to ask.

Are there, any stories out there you can recommend that follow the Frankenstein formula; building a living body from parts, but for making a girlfriend instead of a monster. Preferably something that doesn't focus on the necrophilia aspect.

The movie "Weird Science." Two high school nerds make the woman so they would be more popular. But not from body parts. I think they used a computer.
