I'm not the target audience for this story. I'm not a gamer and I've never driven a Mercedes, let alone an S-class. And the premise, that a man has to have sex with his 'harem' to boost their dungeon-raiding powers, could easily have been an excuse to overload on gratuitous sex scenes. And yet, once I had sampled it, I was hooked.
The characters are intelligently drawn rather than cardboard cutouts, the drawbacks of the initial premise are discussed rationally and the 'harem' members have their own personalities and enter the bonding by informed choice.
At the time of writing this, the harem is solidifying into a team and starting missions into dungeons. Yet there are portents of conflict ahead as a faction of the powers-that-be think the protagonist is too valuable to risk his life in dungeons.
The writing quality is good, not perfect. Occasionally I was left wondering about a non-sequitur. But overall I am now addicted and eagerly awaiting the next instalment. There is plenty of, but not excessive, sex, but for me, that's not the main attraction.
