Forum: Story Recommendations

I am looking for recommendations for longer wish-fulfillment stories. You know, where MC acquires wealth, security, love partners, health and strength if not present at the start.

Could be rags-to-reaches, or middle-class to riches. Could be coming of age, or an old geezer getting a new youth, whatever. Could be male or female MC.

Could be an outright fantasy/SF, or just improbable real-life developments. Prefer something reasonably close to actual reality to start, even if it ends up with an alternate timeline.

A little harder nowdays with all the worries about identity theft, but not impossible, given that a lot of very wealthy people keep a low profile.
