What they typically do is to describe them as looking like a famous celebrity. Heck, in the currently posting Symphony of Love, the reputed celebrity is entirely fictional.
Using an actual celebrity not only opens you to potential defamation suits, it also potentially pisses off fans who may similarly dislike any negative associations. Thus fiction is … safer all around.
