Family naturism/nudism, coming of age, casual family sex

Ethan_ 🚫

I've read the following, and enjoyed them (can we have some more, please?) and wonder if there are more in the same vein and of the same quality? I'm not fussy about age either way, but do feel that, with the progressively earlier onset of puberty, imposing a post-pubertal age limit is unrealistic.

Several others of his stories deal with the nudist camp.

While I liked those stories, those 'nudist camp' stories were clearly written by those who'd never actually visited one, as I've always been a nudie myself. The whole vibe is significantly different than the stories' presumptions. As generally, it's a lifestyle, not a swingers' camp. And while there are hookups, they are usually kids present too (i.e. small children).

So, those stories are enjoyable escapist fiction, they're as far from actual fact as it's possible to get. And while Americans have virtually no concept of nudism, even the few U.S.A. locations (rarely actual camps, more often they're simply unofficial sites where Europeans frequently gather) are considerable different.

And yeah, I've discussed it with them, yet as always, their answer is "Who cares, it's a damn story dude?"

And in my case, it's never been the sort of story I was inclined to write anyway.

While I agree that 99% of those camp stories don't reflect reality. That doesn't mean the authors aren't familiar with how such places truly function. As you stated, it is fiction and the vast majority are reading for reasons that aren't altogether realistic.

That said, there are rules to follow when posted stories and having children running around hinders that. Also, no one wants to read erotica about towels constantly and a lack of physical reactions to the male or female form.

@Fanlon

Yep, especially with erotic stories, where the emphasis is on one's physical reaction itself. Still, in a general discussion, it makes sense to emphasize the difference, as in many stories, the eroticism is secondary to the plot and the specific characters involved. So once again, pick whichever approach best suits your stories, as that's what matters the most, whoever's writing it.

As I typically focus on the minutia or writing, rather than each specific story.

That said, even in most real-life nudist resorts, hookups do happen, just not where the kids are likely to be present. However, ducking out on the kids is often how husbands and wives have a little fun too. ;)

I remember reading somewhere that Nick Scipio did in fact attend a nudist camp with his family for several summers, although he did not know at the time it was a swinger camp as well.

Based on his stories, I'm guessing he figured it out pretty quickly, once he reached puberty, as most of us do. Before puberty, we really don't care, afterwards, it's mostly all we think about.

Nick did attend a nudist camp with his family for several summers and he didn't know about the swinging going on among the adults. However, the teenagers were also, ahem, discovering each other.

Murray Wilson has two series of 10 stories each that both involve large scale nudism. Both series are mostly separate stories in a shared universe rather than telling a single story across several books.

Blanke Schande College is about a university that require all female students to be naked.

This Naked World involves a global push to adopt "Lifestyle Nudism" as a protected way of life in many countries.

Neither of the series is specifically family oriented, but BSC has a few incest stories and TNW has it in most.

As an aside, puberty actually doesn't start earlier today than it used to, but it does progress more quickly. This is mostly due to poor diet and child labour historically. So puberty began at the same age a thousand years ago as it does today (10 - 12 for girls), but certain key milestones happened later, especially menarche.

If you're interested, here's an article about it: https://theconversation.com/children-arent-starting-puberty-younger-medieval-skeletons-reveal-91095.

According to the study recounted in the article, puberty progresses more quickly now than in the Middle Ages. Specifically, girls reach menarche at an earlier age now than before.

As Dicrostonyx noted, much of this is nutrition based. On one hand, we're better fed than our ancestors, while on the other, we're often overly fed—especially those living in 'food deserts' where they simply don't have access for decent food. Thus we're now face with the best of the best and the worst of the worst, simultaneously, even when we manage to maintain a healthy body weight and body/mass ratio.

Speaking of which, they've pretty much tossed the older, long-established body-mass ratios, because they've never accounted for the different 'body types' and the effect they have. Thus you can be healthy, even if you're shorter and more 'pear-shaped' than your peers.

Fixed, thank you. I changed how I wanted to phrase things mid-sentence and forgot to correct.

Yeah, but it's basically only lacking a blow-to-blow description of the log prepared big orgy, and in same way it may even be better left to imagination.

Often, in those situations—especially if an author can't figure out how to resolve it—it's better just skipping the event entirely and cover the details after the event. Sometimes a 'big event' can be incredibly intimidating, so offsetting that press is preferable to just … bailing. ;)

Beth by Bronte Follower fits but was removed by the author. His New Tree also fits but was removed.
There is a section of Beth for sale on zzBookstore and he is reposting the story on another site.

The extant Nude Planet stories (icehead's original Nude Planet: Kasha and rlfj's Immigration Assistance) include incest themes, even though they aren't the central point of either story.
