As to the "ten inches" part, I think most MCs in both Don Lockwood's and Jay Cantrell's stories have "normal dimensions" (that applies to a large number of the other popular writers here).
The obvious big exception there is JC's Daze in the Valley, but that is necessary to the plot - he is desperately short of cash after his parents die and his sister steals the inheritance, and he has a big dick in LA. His friends suggest he could work in the porn industry. He does.

This really wasn't the fat guy getting the girl. She didn't want him sexually until he was buffed up.
I like reconcilation stories but that one annoyed me. She professes her undying love for the MC as he is, but only gets back together with him after he transforms into a hunk. I would have rather he use his new physique to get someone new.
While that's technically true, you're glossing over the fact that she begged him over email to come back far before he chose to come back after buffing up. She would have taken him back as he was--and truly loved him as he was. The fact that he came back buffed up was merely bonus for both of them--she loved the new body and he benefited from the self esteem boost.
No glossing over that. She actually says that is the reason why she fucked the trainer:

I remember a story a out an overweight guy whose wife basically cut him off. I don't remember if he already knew or found out while was at the fat farm, but she was cheating on him as well. While there he comes to admire one of his instructors, and after he is out he asks her out, divorces his cheating ex, and IIRC marries the instructor.
