I looked and remember starting to read The Healer but lost interest when iirc some sort of alien/s "antagonist" were revealed.

The story has aliens but the mc was not "taken" by aliens and made a life, at least it hadn't happened as far as I had read...thanks anyways

Really? I read up to ch 8 and don't remember anything about someone from Earth...

Synopsis - "The family tradition was that one of you had to serve, be it Fleet, Ground Force or Guardian. Kiria was determined to serve yet surprised her family in choosing to be a Ground Force Officer, plus also compounded it by designating her specialist role to be that of a Healer. Not many Healers worked for Ground Force, they tended to work for Fleet in (mostly) complete safety. Yet Kiria knew that it was at the front where her services were needed... assuming she could qualify as a Healer Warrior."

I've done doover several times (love it!) and am now looking at stories by "aliens" tag.

tried both those stories when they first came out and didn't care for them...both are "much sex" which as I said I'm not interested in.

Sorry about that forgot to check the level. Although the Universe is seen as stroke stories the Swarm Cycle has some good authors that limit to a "some sex" and even lower. One such is lordshipmayhem, His Chosen Frozen series is a good example.

And I made a mistake regarding Arlene and Jeff...I've never read a word of the story other than the synopsis which turned me off the story

Another one (I have only read a part of the earlier version): "The Warlord and the Multiverse" stories by Hunter Johnson. The first book starts with a man on earth taken by, well, not aliens but non-terran humans. Although if I recall there are some aliens. All minimal sex.

There were also a couple of artie stories that started by an earth man taken up by aliens; but most of his stories are not on SOL. Time of Arrival is the one I recall.
