There was a part of the "Jeff and Arlene" story where prisoners were sent to another primitive world for punishment.. One died immediately, but the other was much more resourceful and makes a life for himself using his wit and clever use of available materials. He has ups and downs, but is able to grow and thrive.. He does have very minimal materials from his home in the developed world...
I am looking for a similar story.. everything I find seems to include far to many modern materials and weapons to be realistic..
