Could you be more specific in what aspect(s) of 'A True History' you are interested in? Are you only interested in the alternate universe aspect or do you also want stories about people with powers/additional abilities or maybe stories about a person with multiple wives?
I think technically, any of the do-over stories would be alternate universes because once the MC goes back in time, things change.
I'm sure more people would be able to provide more suggestions if you can provide a bit more detail about what you are looking for.

That's one on my reading list.
It's not yet complete and it seems to be the author is pantsing so I'm not sure there's an ending in sight. Parts of it are very good (the scifi parts, but then I'm prejudiced).

I tried and couldn't do it. There's only so many Yeah Boyeeeez and ha-ooh's one can put up with and this exceeded my limit.
I tried reading 'Mayhem', but got lost in the story after several chapters. I have not tried it again.
It is nothing like ATH but Kajakie Karr's story "At the Woodchopper's Ball" is set in an alternative world.
Thank you for the responses. I am looking for stories that have elements of alternate history, similar to 'The Richard Jackson Saga' or 'A Fresh Start'. The story does not need a lot of sex, but just a good storyline. As I posted earlier, I started reading 'Mayhem', but lost the storyline after several chapters. I will relook at it when it is completed.
If you found A Fresh Start acceptable, how about trying Charlie Foxtrot's A New Past?
