Hello all.
Lets say that …. err … one knows someone who is not a writer and has not been prepared by experience or education for long form writing. In fact, come to think of it, this …ehemm… friend of mine, hasn't read all that much fiction.
So, this ridiculous soul - prone to writing carelessly and making obvious mistakes with grammar, punctuation, spelling (not me, obviously) - this halfwit has the notion of writing a multi chapter story. He clearly needs substantial editorial and proof reading support since this is his first attempt at this sort of thing.
Okay - I no doubt fooled all of you. In fact, I am talking about myself.
I have a reasonably detailed outline for the story. I know what I need to do chapter by chapter and have an end point. I am not flaying about like a complete idiot.
I have also written a little over a 1000 words of the first chapter, and honestly, I'm pretty happy with it. This makes me suspicious. I think someone should really read this and give me their view.
For the sake of disclosure, the full story will contain incest and underage characters (although sticking firmly to SOL's 14+ rule). There is no sex yet, but I just wanted to warn people who may want to avoid such topics.
I have written a forward (in draft form) which gives some more details about what is and isn't going to be in the story, though honestly, I'm pretty vanilla as these things go, I think. For those who have read any of NS' 'Summer Camp' or BD' OSL series, there won't be anything beyond that in my story.
Many thanks in advance.
