Old Greek or Latin

Lapi ๐Ÿšซ

I saw the Book about 50 years ago. Recently got the pages in a PDF but it is the 1562 translation of a 1400 MS. I hate to say it but although I know some Latin, it looks like Greek or older Latin to me. Anybody read this older Greek or Latin that would help. It's sort of a rare Book, last came to the USA in 1907 and 1949. Like I said in 50 years only saw/heard from it once. Called The Book of Ptolomy one of 23/24 of this type.
Thanks

@Lapi

I think what you are referring to is Ptolemy's Almagest

I relooked at the scans and it is Latin not Greek. Looks like it is GEOGRAPHIA not the 1400 PDF for the Almagest. Scans came from a book G 404.15 from the Boston Library.
Thanks for the input and help

In that case, try this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0877YWHZN/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1

It seems to have both map and comment annotations and shows 712 pages rather than the 218 from the 1406 translation.

I was hoping to find the 24th book summarizing the Astrology first 23 books.

Thanks for the references, from what I gather different understandings have been made about this one, the Southern lands too

Edited

Astrology should be the Almagest.

Correction, that is probably the Tetrabiblos

There is also a translation of that on Amazon.

Thanks

I know the Almagest(4 Books) is part of the 23 books in the series I was thinking of, another was, I think 9 books the rest 4 or 5. The 24th was never completed and referred to the other 23ooks in such a way that a different interpretation might be reached.
From what little I know, I think the Catholic Church still teaches an earth centric version of the universe like in the Tetrabiblos in some? theological seminaries rather than a Sun centric one.

I remember some section on the INet made mention of what were those 23 books but did not name the 24th.(1995 or so)
The one I saw was old and in Greek and Arabic both and came from Eastern Europe about 1959-61 I think.

Not a well known area and I appreciate all your thoughts, they are more than I expected even
