Not a bug/feature, but tech support request:

How do you use the Story Size fields on the Search By Category page? Do you enter file size or word count? In what format — 40000 or 40,000 or 40k or what? Can you enter only one, say, only From to get only stories longer than that size, or are both From and To required? And is this documented somewhere?

(Playing around with it has gotten me nowhere—I never get any search results, which suggests I'm using the wrong format.)

It's kb, not word. Yes you can enter only one. I might enter "400" in the second field (To) to limit stories to 400kb or less. So if you enter "400" in the first field and leave the second one blank it will give you only stories that meet your criteria that are 400kb or larger.

yes you can, I do it all the time to avoid the short stories. As SB says, it's kbs.
