This NOT a complaint against the new anti-bot measure.
However, the code still seems to have some bugs to work out.
At certain points in stories, it seems to be susceptible to load failure after clicking the 2nd request button.
From the author feedback comments I read multiple readers experienced an error at the same chapter in a multiple chapter posting. (This example was on Chapter 2 of Lumpy's Sword of Jupiter.)
This might be a file size or file location not serving data in the allotted timeout... or it might be a timing coincidence. (I was learning on Chapter 1 but expected it for Chapter 2. So there was a lot of delay between clicking on the 2nd button for Chapter 1 but VERY little on chapter 2.)
I re-attempted with a 'back' and clicking the buttons again... with worse results. Somehow part of Chapter 3 appeared. A back with a forced F5 refresh & click-through was successful.
Perhaps caching is a complication?
