Minor Bug In My Library

Jim S ๐Ÿšซ

I've already posted this to the Webmaster overlooking this Forum completely. But I'll post here for feedback.

In My Library/Fav.Authors, when I click on the dated link under either Last Update or New Story, I'm carried to the page requesting Log In. This even though I'm already logged in. Wnen clicking on the Log In link on that page, I'm carried to what I thought I was originally requesting, i.e. the story linked under either Last Update or New Story as if nothing happened.

Has anyone else had this problem?

That could mean the cookie may be corrupt as sent. Freshness of said cookie is not an issue as I periodically dump them and the problem occurs both pre and post.

sometimes the cookie info gets corrupted or seen as corrupted - it sometimes, but not always, happens after I lose my ISP connection due to trouble on the line. It's not a common event, but does happen. The most often I see this is with the cookies for Fine Stories because I don't visit that site every day and I don't usually keep a page open on it. After 3 or 4 days the cookie isn't recognised and I have to log in again.

Also, your browser setting can affect the cookie storage etc as well. I notice I have more cookie issues with the limited browser on the tablet I have than on my PC.

LZ emailed back saying pretty much the same thing. What's puzzling to me, though, is that I can't remember doing anything new and all of a sudden, I'm getting this error. But given the way MS updates can affect things, I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't the cause. I swear, once forced to W10, I'm likely going Linux.
