Site error on SSL pages

Average Geek ๐Ÿšซ

It seems like there is an issue with all the SSL pages on the site - My Account, Webmaster and unfortunately the Login page. I get a HTTP 500 error page whenever I get redirected to these pages. A few uptime sites I tried are reporting the same issue.

Luckily I was still logged in on one device so I'm able to post on the forum. Lazeez - please help!

Same problem, unable to log on from my ipad shows Internal Server Error on Apache server at port 443.

this has only occurred since your update.

I just tried to check this page and got a message about the website being turned off. A reload a minute later and it's OK. Me thinks there are some issues being worked on.

I got that but it was sporadic. I was going back through the pages of this area and even numbers got the message but odd numbered pages came down OK.
(I wanted the thread 'does anyone speak English" (or something like that) so I could put out an off subject plea for help to a US resident to translate the meaning of something)

Now 06:30 Sydney time, and all seems to be working, and I downloaded the story I was afer with no hassles.
As others mentioned, likely a bug after the planned outage.

Hopefully, that's the case. The maintenance turned out to be way more difficult than expected. It took way too long to figure out this problem, but in the end, this needed to be done.

If your find any problem, please report it. I can't test everything and may still have hidden problems that I haven't stumbled upon yet.

Hi,
hijacking a bit. Have a problem when trying to connect over https. It starts redirecting, and then can not connect.
The Firefox error message says it can have something to do when cookies are deactivated or refused. But I did not change any setting regarding cookies since yesterday, and yesterday it was working.
So any idea, what might have happened?

Thanks.

Try clearing the site's cookies and then log in.

I tested the security configuration of both sites and no security tool reports any issues. I can log in perfectly with iPad, iPhone, Android Phone, Safari on Mac, Firefox on Mac, Chrome on Mac.

If I can't replicate the issue, then I have no idea what to fix.

If you have bookmarks to the log in pages, make sure that they are set as https: not http:

Internet Explorer has an option to clear SSL Certificate states when things go awry.
Your android browser should have something similar.

If you have an old android you may not be able to connect. Old androids don't have what is needed for new certificates. Sorry, not much I can do in this case.
