A new serial doesn't show on the Updates list if it was updated less than 18 hours after being posted. Your story was posted yesterday evening around 7pm. It hasn't been 18 hours since.
If you update it after 2pm today, it will be listed in the Updates page.
Just out of curiosity... this thread showed up as just having been updated right before I posted this question, so any indication of what happened? (timestamp of previous last post was 1:52:51)

Most likely someone posted and then deleted it. Result: thread updated but no new post. I see it happening every so often on the forum. As long as nobody posted after that you can see the name of who it was.
No, it was showing as Laz, still.
Then Lazeez might have made a post, deleted it and later added a new post. What I described is what I see happening on the forum every now and then. It's not a bug, just how things work.
