New Stories - "Displaying stories 1 through 10 of 218" but lists 20 per page and reverts back to page 1 after page 2

Mine is saying it's displaying 1–10 but displays 1–30.
Page 2 says 31–40 but displays 31–60.
Page 3 says 61–70 but displays 61–90.
I stopped there.
Changed the listings for new stories and updated serials to 30 per page. Fixed few lingering bugs. Both should be working as expected now.
Back to 10 for New and Updates ...
But now I have updated my preference, it is as requested. Sorry :-)
I am an ordinary member. Now I have updated my preferences to 30 per page, I still see 5 pages of New Stories, and that means I can see 150 New Stories. I suspect this is not what was intended.

I'm aware of the change. If you set your pages to 50 stories, you'll get 250 stories. I'm fine with that for now. In the future, if it affects the site's general income, I may change it to limit the actual count regardless of the story count per page.

I've set mine to 50 but am only able to see 150 but have buttons for more. Page buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. With set to 50, buttons 4 & 5 send me to page 1.

With ever growing screens/resolutions across most devices, there's an every growing need to pack more data on each tiny screen. What's satisfactory now certainly won't be a few more years.
As I said in the previous post, the requirement for this change has more to do with the number of stories or chapters being posted or updated daily. In order for the new ones to be tagged as "seen", you have to have gone through the (New Stories / Updated Chapters) lists until you get to the previous "last" story.
This change means that paging through those displays is usually no longer necessary.
My iPhone and iPad are still only showing 10. Was the site change for computers?
I changed the system to make the story count per page a user preference. If you go to the 'My Account' page and click on 'Listings', you'll find that now you can change the option from 10 up to 50.

Changed my preference to 20 from the 30 it was giving me on the 5th; however gone back to 10.
My Android machine was still showing 10 - the PC was showing 30 - so I bumped the default from 10 to 20. Unfortunately that default applies to everything.
The change is definitely "a good thing" though - now that authors can schedule chapters in advance, there can be 15 updates at 13:00 UTC or 14:00 UTC.
