What is going on. Every time I change to a new page or try to download a book your website hangs on performing TSL handshake. 5, 10 15 20, 30, seconds and somtime it doesn't complete the handshake at all and I get a blank page. What did you change!!!!
Nothing. I changed nothing. I am seeing a slow down. I'm investigating.
ETA: Something is going on at the hosting centre and it's slowing things down across multiple servers. There is nothing that I can do about this. I opened a support ticket and waiting for any clarification.

Aside from the potential hosting problem, I too observed a small delay (1-2 sec) during TLS handshake.
the problem started April 16, the day firefox upgraded to 66.0.3 and lasted until April 20, the day windows update restarted my VM.
While it wasn't on every website, it wasn't limited to SOL either, and not all my VM exhibited the problem.
So I would suggest you also try the universal remedy: full reboot of your computer (which on windows 10 means: shift+reboot then choose continue).
