Would it be doable to have stories in the library automatically go from Active Serials to the Queue? I realize this may not be a popular request, but I at least try to not read stories until they are finished and this would help.

In the Library Preferences section the last options is: Add Favourited Authors' new stories to library automatically - maybe this does what you want.
Also, on the right of the Library list is an Edit option with an option of Auto-add author's new stories to library which may do as you want.

The default when you bookmark a story is the queue box to be checked. If you leave it that way, the story will be in the active serials AND in the queue until it's completed.
But that leaves a LOT of stories in my queue that I am not willing to read yet since they are unfinished. Active Serials are, as far as I am concerned, stories in waiting, the ones I actively read are in my Queue. Since I have about 25 stories in my Queue and about 75 in Active Serials, you might see my problem here.
I already add favorites to my Library and move stories as needed manually from Queue to Serials. I was just wondering if doing this automatically could be doable.

Everything could be doable. It's just needs justification for the effort.
Why not use the 'Recently Concluded' page to select your favourites? (it's linked from the library)
